§ 10.36.010. Statement of purpose.

The borough finds and declares that the operation of motor vehicles upon public streets and roadways during flooding conditions can create a wake which carries beyond the street or curb line causing damage to adjacent properties. The purpose of this chapter is to protect the property of the borough and its citizens by regulating the manner of operation of motor vehicles driven upon the public streets and roadways of the borough during flooding conditions.
